Davis Internet Kits - In The Know
What are internet kits?
Davis Rural Broadband Internet Kits are simple, plug-and-play devices that bring high-speed internet to homes, farms, and businesses in rural areas where traditional cable or fiber internet may not be available. Instead of relying on buried cables or phone lines, these kits use advanced 4G and 5G cellular networks from multiple national carriers to deliver fast, reliable internet directly to your location. Each kit includes a pre-configured modem/router that connects to nearby cellular towers and creates a secure Wi-Fi network for all of your devices—phones, laptops, smart TVs, security cameras, and more.
Getting connected is easy. Once your kit arrives, simply plug it into power, place it in a good signal location, and connect your devices to Wi-Fi. There’s no complicated installation, no drilling through walls, and no waiting weeks for a technician. Davis Rural Broadband’s multi-carrier technology automatically uses the strongest available network in your area, helping ensure dependable service even in remote communities across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. It’s a practical, modern internet solution designed specifically for rural homes, small businesses, RV travelers, and off-grid properties that need fast connectivity without the limitations of traditional providers.

Davis Internet Plans - The Up & Down
Internet Plans & Speeds
An internet plan determines the level of speed and performance you receive with your Davis Rural Broadband service. Each plan is designed to support different types of internet usage, from basic browsing and email to streaming, video calls, gaming, and running a home office. When you select an internet plan, you are choosing the maximum speed at which data can travel between your devices and the internet. Higher-speed plans allow more devices to connect at once and provide a smoother experience for activities that require more bandwidth.
Internet speeds are typically described using download speed and upload speed, often referred to as the “down” and “up” speeds. Download speed measures how quickly information travels from the internet to your devices. This affects things like streaming movies, loading websites, downloading files, and watching online videos. Upload speed measures how quickly your device can send information to the internet. This is important for activities such as video conferencing, uploading files, sending large emails, online backups, and posting content to social media.
Because Davis Rural Broadband uses advanced cellular networks, actual speeds can vary depending on factors such as signal strength, network conditions, and the number of devices connected. However, our internet plans are designed to provide reliable performance for everyday use, helping rural homes and businesses stay connected for work, entertainment, communication, and more.
